From Our GIRLilla Warfare Family To Yours: Screw the Guilt and Have An Awesome Thanksgiving

By Lisa Barr, Editor of GIRLilla Warfare

It has been a year of blessings, challenges, great moments and tough ones, filled with those days that go on and on, and those days that all we want is for time to freeze and that special moment to last forever. As Moms we’ve loved, we’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve yelled, we’ve nagged, we’ve messed up, and we’ve risen to the occasion and got “it” right.

But whatever it is, and wherever you are, we’ve been through it all together. You, Me, and Our Girlfriend Next Door.

From a blogger’s standpoint, it doesn’t get better.

My Readers, My Writers, My Peeps. And on top of the heap as always, My Family. There is SO much to be thankful for — my plate runneth over.

YES, on Thanksgiving, Gratitude IS the New Black.

So here’s to my Fab Designer Extraordinaire Dave Stepen, Appdroplet’s Tom Sutton, “Teen Expert” Debby Shulman, “Sexpert”  E.J. Gordon, “Beauty Babe” Arden Edelcup, “Mompreneur” Jamie Kanner, “GUYrilla” Evan Field, Social Networking Advisor Rebecca Fishman, Intern Sophie Morrison, Publicist Marcy Padorr, Literary agent Liza Fleissig, and a fabulous host of GW guest contributors and advertisers. But NONE of this could happen without the constant daily support of My HOME-ies, Davey & The Girls.

This blog, this Editor, is truly blessed with wonderful writers and friends; those who never shy away from what is real, meaningful, and affecting suburban Moms on a daily, (and in E.J. Gordon’s case) — nightly basis.

So, Girlfriends … Love A lot , Laugh A lot, Eat A lot  … On this Thanksgiving, may your hearts be as full as your tummies. May your homes be blessed and shine brightly with those faces that mean everything to you.

With Much Love,

xoxo GIRLilla Warfare
